Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Associate Overhead Transmission Line Engineer to join our team. You will contribute to the design and analysis of transmission line work and support large 345kV+ rebuilds and greenfield projects, including HVDC and 765kV technologies.

Responsibilities include data collection, calculations, equipment recommendations, and collaboration with engineering teams to meet budget and schedule. Hybrid work options and relocation eligibility are available.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and the ability to complete pre-employment onboarding (criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search).
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience is required.
• Relocation eligible and visa sponsorship not available for this role.

Responsibilities

• Support design engineering and analysis of transmission line work.
• Contribute to large 345kV+ rebuild and greenfield projects, including HVDC and 765kV trends.
• Collect and assimilate data for engineering work and perform calculations.
• Develop recommendations for equipment and materials within budget, schedule, and quality constraints.
• Assist with guiding engineering team members and support client relations and business development as needed.
