Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager to join our national Power Delivery team in Omaha, NE. You will lead transmission line projects of varied sizes, coordinate design teams, and ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence while engaging with clients and stakeholders.

You will mentor engineers and technicians, oversee permitting and right-of-way aspects, and uphold HDR’s commitment to employee-owned culture. This role emphasizes collaboration across offices and regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• 7 years related experience
• Minimum 2 years of project management experience
• Strong ability to interact with design teams and excellent organizational, project management and communication skills
• Commitment to employee-owned culture and participation

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead projects and programs throughout the entire life cycle.
• Oversee workload, schedule, quality, utilization, morale and performance of project staff.
• Oversee non-engineering components such as public engagement, permitting, right of way acquisition and construction management.
• Lead the QA/QC process per HDR’s QMS requirements to exceed client quality expectations.
• Support client management and engage in business development with existing and target clients in the region and beyond.
• Coordinate with Area/Regional leadership and HDR Talent Acquisition to develop hiring plans.
• Ability to work with staff in multiple offices to execute projects.
• Represent HDR to support marketing and proposal development for new opportunities
