Job summary

HDR is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager to lead projects from scope to closeout, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget adherence. You will manage teams, coordinate engineering and non-engineering tasks, and advance client relationships across multiple locations in the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 7 years related experience.
• Minimum 2 years project management experience.
• Professional Engineer license (PE or P.Eng).
• MS Office and MS Project experience required; Access experience a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Commitment to an employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead transmission projects through the full project life cycle, including scope, team, execution, closeout, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Track financials and adjust effort to meet budget and schedule.
• Direct staff workload to ensure on-time deliverables.
• Lead QA/QC following HDR Quality Management System.
• Oversee non-engineering components such as public involvement, environmental permitting, right of way acquisition, construction management.
• Support client relationships and engage in business development with existing and target clients.
• Depending on location, recruit and supervise a team and oversee workload, quality, utilization, and morale.
