Job summary

WSP seeks a Transmission Line Project Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team with flexible work arrangements, including remote or Southeast office options. Preferred locations include Fort Mill, SC and other regional hubs.

Provide technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage overhead transmission lines, and support business development, construction support, and staff mentorship. Travel to client sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering.
• Engineer in Training Certification.
• Strong command of English with good written and oral communication.
• Experience with PLS-CADD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
• Create and maintain a project schedule.
• Coordinate with clients on project status and meetings.
• Forecast upcoming project requirements for resource planning.
• Adhere to QA/QC procedures and support project teams.
