Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Transmission Line Engineering Manager to lead design and construction of high‑voltage transmission line projects within our Power Delivery practice.

You will guide clients, projects, and teams, applying broad technical knowledge and a track record of leadership on complex projects. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, a PE license, 10+ years in the Power Market Sector, and proficiency with PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• PE license required or eligible in location.
• 10+ years of experience in Power Market Sector.
• Experience with transmission line design and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design components of transmission projects.
• Develop and implement project execution plans for technical aspects.
• Mentor and supervise engineers, EITs, designers and staff.
• Perform project management duties: scope, schedule, budget, risk, and reviews.
• Coordinate QA/QC per HDR standards and participate in project reviews.
