Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Missouri is seeking a Transmission Line Engineering Manager to lead the design and construction of high-voltage transmission projects.

You’ll partner with the Project Manager to ensure technical excellence, schedule adherence, and on-time delivery while mentoring a diverse team of engineers, EITs, and designers. This role demands a PE license and 10+ years in power delivery, with proficiency in PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• PE license required.
• 10+ years of power delivery project experience.
• Experience at an engineering consulting firm preferred.
• Experience with high-voltage transmission projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and design components of transmission projects.
• Serve as technical lead within project execution teams.
• Develop and implement project execution plans for the technical scope.
• Mentor Engineers, EITs, Designers and CAD staff.
• Support scope, schedule, budget, and change management.
• Coordinate QA/QC per HDR's QMS and participate in reviews.
