Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking Transmission Line Engineering Managers to join our Power Delivery team. You will lead the engineering and design components of transmission projects, develop execution plans, and mentor engineers across locations, while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in the Power Market Sector, a PE license, proficiency with PLS-CADD/AutoCAD/Plant 3D/AutoPipe/Revit, and a strong track record in project execution and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in the Power Market Sector is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (or equivalent).
• Extensive project execution experience in the Power Market Sector.
• Proficient with MS Office and industry design tools: PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Revit.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute engineering and design components of transmission projects.
• Develop and implement project execution plans for technical aspects.
• Mentor and supervise Project Engineers, EITs, Designers and CAD staff.
• Support PM duties: scope, schedule, budget, proposals, risk and change management.
• Lead QA/QC processes per HDR's QMS and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Coordinate multiple projects across locations and teams.
