Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Transmission Line Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and design of transmission projects within the Power Delivery group.

You will develop execution plans and guide teams across locations, ensuring high-quality technical output. You will work with senior engineers to expand technical capabilities, participate in training, and contribute to HDR’s reputation for reliable, world-class power infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Power Market Sector.
• Professional Engineer license required (PE or P.Eng).
• Extensive experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
• Proficient in Power Sector design software: PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Revit.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute engineering and design components of transmission projects.
• Develop and implement project execution plans for the technical aspects of transmission projects.
• Mentor, supervise, and coordinate Project Engineers, EITs, Designers, and CAD staff.
