Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Transmission Line Project Manager to join our growing Power Delivery team. You will manage transmission line projects of various sizes, coordinating with design teams to execute work on time and within budget.

The role requires a civil or mechanical engineering background with at least 7 years of experience and 2 years in project management. PE/FE or PMP credentials are preferred. This full-time position involves collaboration across multiple offices and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering or related field required.
• FE/PE license preferred; PMP acceptable in lieu of PE.
• 7+ years related experience with at least 2 years in project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage transmission line projects from scope to closeout, including schedule, budget, and quality control.
• Lead project engineers, EITs, designers, and coordinators; oversee workload and performance.
• Oversee non-engineering components such as public engagement, permitting, and real estate aspects.
• Support marketing and proposal development and coordinate with regional leadership for hiring.
