Job summary
WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team.
This role offers flexible work arrangements, including remote options or offices across the Southeast region, with preferred sites in Indian Land, SC and neighboring states. You will provide technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage overhead transmission line projects up to 765kV, manage project schedules, and mentor staff while coordinating with clients and internal
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in electrical transmission design for capital projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required (multi-state preferred).
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage overhead transmission line projects up to 765kV.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to maintain schedules and QA/QC procedures.
- Lead project teams and mentor staff, including travel to client offices/field sites as needed.
- Develop scope, schedule, and budget with Project Managers and support client relationships.
- Support recruitment, staffing, and department process improvements.
