Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group in Denver, CO seeks a Supervising Engineer - Transmission Line to lead planning, design, and delivery of high voltage infrastructure. You will oversee a team of engineers and designers, ensuring projects meet schedule, budget, and regulatory requirements while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires a BS or higher in engineering from ABET-accredited school, a P.E.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in electric utility engineering or management for high voltage projects.
• Bachelor or graduate degree in engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• P.E. license required.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex projects on time and budget.
• Strong capabilities in structural, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards (ANSI, NEC, NESC, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception to completion including planning, design, permitting, construction support and closeout.
• Supervise engineers, designers, and staff with coaching and performance reviews.
• Oversee preparation of designs, specs, and plans for utilities infrastructure such as substations and transmission lines.
• Develop and manage project budgets and monitor expenses.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and the public to ensure delivery.
• Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure workmanship and materials.
• Prepare and maintain project status reports and engineering documentation.
