Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC seeks a Supervising Engineer - Transmission Line to lead and coordinate the design and execution of high-voltage infrastructure projects. You will manage a team of engineers and designers, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery across multiple sites.

You bring a minimum of seven years in electric utility engineering or management, with a BS or graduate degree from ABET-accredited program and a professional engineer license.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in electric utility engineering or management for high voltage projects.
• ABET-accredited B.S. or graduate degree in engineering; P.E. license required.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and deliver complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of structural, civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from inception to completion including planning, design, permitting, and closeout.
• Supervise engineers, designers, and staff with training and performance reviews.
• Oversee preparation of designs, specs, and plans for substations and transmission lines.
• Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including safety/environmental.
• Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and the public for delivery.
• Implement and oversee quality control procedures for workmanship and materials.
• Prepare detailed project status reports and engineering documentation.
