Job summary

The position offers hybrid work with potential remote arrangements for qualified candidates in PA, OH, or WV, plus relocation assistance. Lead engineers will guide design, analysis, and procurement through full project lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years of experience in high voltage transmission design.
• Expertise in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
• EIT certification.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Strong client communication skills to serve as primary contact for clients.
• Business acumen with track record of meeting project metrics.
• Onsite work possibility; some travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple design teams on various projects for multiple clients.
• Develop and mentor Leidos' engineering talent.
• Oversee staff with timesheets and annual performance reviews.
• Lead as part of the Transmission Line Section leadership team.
• Prepare responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and define scope of work.
• Foster creative problem solving and continuous process improvement.
• Oversee recruiting to support growth goals.
• Drive quality control for all deliverables.
• Liaise with clients to grow business and strengthen relationships.
• Manage portfolio health with PMs to monitor scope, schedule and budget.
