Job summary

Leidos seeks a Lead Transmission Line Engineer to manage a dynamic team on high voltage transmission projects ranging from 34.5 kV to 765 kV. You will apply NESC, ASCE, NEC standards and lead engineers in PLS-CADD modeling, structure loading, and procurement documentation.

The role is hybrid with potential remote work for candidates in PA, OH, or WV, with relocation assistance possible. Travel may be required and mentorship is emphasized to grow with the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple design teams on high voltage transmission projects.
• Coach, train, and mentor engineering talent in the Transmission Line Section.
• Develop responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and define scopes of work.
• Ensure schedule, scope, and budget are managed across programs.
