Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years in design of high voltage transmission systems.
• Expertise in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE.
• Engineer In Training (EIT) certification.
• Strong team collaboration and ability to work independently.
• Outstanding communication to serve as primary client contact.
• Business acumen with ability to meet project performance metrics.
• Onsite work possible; some travel may be required.
• Ability to mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple design teams on transmission projects and programs for various clients.
• Develop and mentor Leidos engineering staff.
• Approve timesheets and oversee annual performance reviews.
• Lead responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs and define scope of work.
• Manage client relationships and contribute to business development.
• Drive scope, schedule, budget, and overall project execution to successful completion.
• Drive quality control across the execution team and deliverables.
• Foster innovation and automation to streamline design processes.
