Zusammenfassung

Stantec is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to lead detailed engineering and construction support for 69 kV to 500 kV transmission line projects. The role sits in any US office, with responsibilities spanning specifications, designs, reports, and client coordination.

You will coordinate engineers, prepare bid packages, and contribute to a diverse portfolio within the Power Delivery sector, leveraging PLS-CADD and related tools. Denver and other US locations are supported.

Qualifikationen

• PE required or ability to attain after one year.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
• 8 plus years of experience in the design of overhead and underground high voltage and extra high voltage transmission lines including route selection, line and structure spotting, structure design and analysis, and development of construction bid packages.

Aufgaben

• Lead the preparation of specifications, calculations, drawings and scope documents for construction tenders and contracts.
• Coordinate and direct design engineers and technical staff to ensure projects are executed on scope, on budget and on schedule.
• Write and edit technical reports and engineering studies.
• Liaise with clients and contractors, coordinating with various disciplines and permitting agencies and exercising project management skills.
• Work on a variety of unique projects within the Power Delivery sector and advance your career paths.
• Contribute to a diverse company, bridging gaps between sectors of infrastructure engineering.
