Job summary
Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to sit in any US office, including Denver, CO.
You will lead HV/EHV transmission line projects from conceptual design to construction support, including specifications, calculations, drawings, and coordinating engineers and staff across disciplines. The role emphasizes strong client interaction, thorough technical reporting, and the ability to manage scope, budget, and schedule while pursuing multiple project
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- PE license or eligibility to obtain within one year.
- 8+ years related experience in overhead/underground HV & EHV transmission lines.
Responsibilities
- Lead preparation of specifications, calculations, drawings, and scope documents for construction tenders.
- Coordinate design engineers and staff to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
- Write and edit technical reports and engineering studies.
- Liaise with clients and contractors and coordinate with permitting agencies.
- Advance career paths within Power Delivery across diverse projects.
