Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to support design and construction of 69 kV–500 kV projects from conceptual through construction. The role sits in any US office with responsibilities spanning specs, drawings, reports, and client coordination.

You will lead teams, ensure quality deliverables, and advance within the Power Delivery sector. Qualified candidates have 8+ years in high voltage line design, an ABET-degree, PE or ability to obtain, and strong skills in PLS-CADD and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited college or university.
• PE license or ability to attain after one year.
• 8+ years of experience in design of high voltage transmission lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of specifications, calculations, drawings and scope documents for tenders.
• Coordinate design engineers and staff to deliver on schedule and budget.
• Write and edit technical reports and studies.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and permitting agencies and manage projects.
• Contribute to diverse Power Delivery projects and advance career paths within the sector.
• Support development of construction bid packages and project deliverables.
