Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. seeks an accomplished US Transmission Line Engineering Manager to lead and advance our nationwide transmission line practice. This role reports to the Power Delivery Operations Manager and unites leaders across regions to deploy expertise where it adds maximum value for clients and projects.

You will guide technical quality, workforce planning, and executive client engagement while pursuing strategic growth and major programs across the United States.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading multiple teams, offices, and managers
• Experience delivering transmission line engineering projects for utilities, developers, or EPCs
• Strong business judgment balancing people, project delivery, client and financial considerations

Responsibilities

• Lead the US transmission line practice as a national team
• Provide leadership and development oversight to transmission line engineering managers
• Develop and execute strategic vision and operating objectives
• Drive workforce planning and resource management
• Mentor team members and provide guidance
• Communicate performance and priorities to leadership using KPIs
• Balance workload and ensure quality, schedule, and financial outcomes
• Staff and execute projects per Stantec standards
• Support recruitment and professional development across the US
• Expand capacity and collaboration across business units to improve delivery
• Cultivate strategic client relationships and industry leadership
• Represent Stantec at client meetings and industry events
• Assist in proposal development, staffing, risk reviews, and client discussions
• Guide market investments and growth priorities in transmission line
• Expand multidisciplinary services with existing clients
• Partner to achieve growth, revenue, and profitability objectives
