Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to support detailed design and construction through a variety of transmission projects across the United States. The role sits in any US office and emphasizes lead specifications, route planning, and client coordination.

Required are a PE or ability to obtain within a year, a ABET-accredited engineering degree, and 8+ years in HV line design, with proficiency in PLS tools and MS Office. Eligible for benefits described by the firm.

Qualifications

• PE license or ability to obtain within one year.
• Bachelor’s degree from ABET-accredited college/university in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of experience in design of high voltage transmission lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of specifications, calculations, drawings and scope documents for construction tenders.
• Coordinate design engineers and staff to deliver on time, on budget, with high quality.
• Write and edit technical reports and studies.
• Liaise with clients and contractors and manage project activities.
• Advance career across Power Delivery through diverse project work.
• Contribute to a multi-disciplinary infrastructure team.
