Job summary

Iberdrola in Orange, CT is seeking a Lead Line Engineer to design HV, MV, and LV transmission systems for UI-CT. You will lead engineering efforts across scoping, budgeting, design, and construction, and coordinate with a cross-functional project team.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with 7–10 years’ experience, strong leadership, and adherence to industry codes. You will mentor engineers, review designs, and ensure compliant, high-impact project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Capital project engineering across scoping, budgeting, conceptual design, contracting and closeout.
• Lead and oversee conceptual designs; supervise external designers.
• Identify and execute special projects to solve complex problems and improve processes.
• Oversee engineering studies for equipment performance and reliability.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members.
