Leidos seeks a Lead Transmission Line Engineer to join a dynamic team in solving complex problems in electric transmission. You will design HV overhead and underground systems (46kV–345kV), apply NESC and ASCE standards, and prepare bidding documents and construction packages.

The role involves client interface and occasional travel to client sites. Requirements include a Civil Engineering degree and 8+ years in transmission design, with expertise in PLS-CADD, POLE, and related tools.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with 8+ years of relevant transmission design experience.
• Experience reviewing full transmission line designs including PLS-CADD models, foundations, materials, plans and construction packages.

Responsabilidades

• Design HV overhead and underground transmission systems (46kV–345kV).
• Prepare bidding documents, draft plans and specifications, and procurement/construction documents.
• Interface with clients, project planning, environmental, permitting and construction management personnel.
• Develop project scopes, budgets and proposals; work within a Leidos team and with client staff.
