Job summary

WSP is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer for its Overhead Transmission Design team. You may work from Southeast regional offices or opt for remote/hybrid arrangements from a mutually agreed location. The role offers a flexible schedule with both full-time and part-time options.

You will lead project execution, manage multi-disciplinary teams, and interface with clients while ensuring schedules and budgets are met. Strong PLS-CADD expertise and 10+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related discipline.
• Engineer license required (multi-state preferred).
• 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in engineering and civil design.
• Strong command of English with excellent written and oral communication.
• Extensive knowledge in PLS-CADD and overhead HV/EHV design.

Responsibilities

• Lead initial project execution layout and establish a clear project plan.
• Manage engineers, drafters, and designers; interface with the client.
• Create and maintain project schedule and budget; monitor progress.
• Conduct weekly or bi‑weekly project meetings to outline deliverables.
• Develop client relationships to position POWER for future work.
