Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Transmission Construction and Maintenance leader to oversee a large regional operation in Illinois. You will drive strategy, manage budgets, and ensure safety and reliability across 11,000 square miles and millions of customers.

You will supervise 8–12 managers and lead a team of 74–102 staff, coordinating with union leadership and regional peers to deliver capital projects and emergency response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (minimum).
• Experience: 10+ years in industry including 3–5 years in electric T&D supervisory/managerial role.
• Knowledge of T&D operating, maintenance & construction work practices and regulatory issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and implementation of short and long term strategic and tactical labor initiatives.
• Manages departmental budget and balances cost with capital maintenance investments.
• Fosters a high-performance culture, promotes diversity, and leads change initiatives.
• Provides leadership and development of management team and conducts performance reviews.
• Establishes relationships with other departments and community stakeholders.
