Job summary

United Grid Solutions seeks a transmission engineering leader to provide design, engineering, and technical support for high‑voltage transmission line projects. You will guide project teams, prepare package drawings, estimates, and reports, and drive schedule adherence and budget control.

You will interact with client engineers, mentor junior staff, and help develop proposals. A BS in engineering and 5–7 years in power delivery is required; PE is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 5-7 years of electrical utility transmission design experience (69kV+).
• PE license preferred; ability to lead design teams and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead discipline work for transmission line projects and oversight of design packages.
• Plan, schedule, estimate, and monitor project activities and costs.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and sketches with quality documentation.
• Interact with customers and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
