Job summary

ULCS is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Estimator to lead complex HV transmission and substation project estimates from opportunity assessment through bid submission. You will coordinate labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor costs while mentoring the estimating team and improving estimating standards.

The role is fully remote with preference for candidates in AR, LA, MS, and TX, but open nationwide in the United States.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of transmission line construction estimating experience on high-voltage projects.
• Proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid; Bid2Win experience is valued.
• Experience with labor-based estimates, risk evaluation and execution planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating for transmission, substation and storm restoration projects from opportunity to bid submission.
• Develop labor, materials, subcontractor, and production-based estimates.
• Collaborate with Operations and Leadership to craft bid strategies and plans.
