Utility Lines Construction Services (ULCS) is seeking a Transmission Line Estimator to own the bid process for transmission, substation, and infrastructure projects. You will partner with Operations and leadership to craft competitive, executable estimates and strategies for field execution and profitability.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, constructability reviews, and relationships with utilities, EPCs, and contractors. Remote work is offered with preferred hub locations in AR/LA/MS/TX.

Formación

• 5+ years of transmission line construction estimating experience.
• Experience with 69kV to 500kV+ projects.
• Ability to develop quantity takeoffs from plans and specs.
• Experience with lump-sum, unit-price, and time-and-materials estimates.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own estimating process from opportunity evaluation through bid submission.
• Develop labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, and production estimates using appropriate tools.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, contracts and bid documents for scope and risks.
• Collaborate with Operations, PM, and leadership to shape bid strategy.
• Conduct site visits and pre-bid reviews to validate assumptions.
• Support turnover, change orders, forecasting, and project profitability.
