Burns & McDonnell in Orlando seeks a Senior Transmission Engineer to lead the design of complex transmission line projects. You will provide technical oversight, mentor staff, and ensure adherence to NESC, NERC, and regional standards while delivering high-quality field and office work.

You will develop budgets, schedules, and proposals, review vendor drawings, and build strong client relationships to identify new business opportunities. PE license preferred and travel up to 25%.

Formación

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree with 7 years of transmission experience.
• ABET-accredited civil/engineering tech degree with FE and 7 years transmission exp.
• Master's degree in engineering with 6 years of transmission exp.

Responsabilidades

• Lead transmission design from concept to design completion.
• Prepare equipment specs, RFQs, bid summaries, and purchase recommendations.
• Lead conductor sizing, impedance, and grounding studies.
• Ensure compliance with NESC, NERC, and regional standards.
• Review vendor drawings and coordinate with clients and teams.
• Develop schedules, budgets, staffing, and construction plans.
• Mentor engineers and perform QA/QC reviews.
• Build client relationships and pursue new opportunities.
