Y2marketing is seeking a Maintenance Fleet Supervisor to oversee Mechanical Diesel Technicians and maintenance operations for mass transit vehicles on assigned shifts. The role focuses on safe, efficient, and cost-effective service and reports to the Maintenance Manager.

Responsibilities include scheduling, supervising, inspecting work in progress, and ensuring compliance with agency standards. Strong leadership and English communication are essential for success in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication is essential.

• Proven ability to organize, prioritise, and assign work.
• Experience supervising technicians in a maintenance environment.
• Proficient with basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and assign work to Technicians and shifts.
• Supervise maintenance, inspection and safety standards for vehicles.
• Communicate with Transportation Department and Dispatch on vehicle availability.
• Provide feedback, counseling and recognition to staff as needed.
• Demonstrate proper use of tools and diagnostic equipment.
