Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager to join the Business Transformation & Growth practice. You will lead large-scale transformation programs for Life Insurance, Annuity, and Group Benefits clients, shaping agendas, and driving executive relationships.

You will oversee multi-workstream programs, manage governance, and advance AI-enabled delivery methods across engagements. You will develop leaders, drive revenue growth, and contribute to EY BTG growth through strategy, solution delivery, and market

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
12-15+ years of professional experience in consulting, insurance, enterprise technology, or business transformation.
8+ years of experience within Life, Annuity, or Group Benefits insurance.
Proven leadership of large-scale enterprise transformation programs exceeding multiple workstreams, vendors, and delivery teams.
Demonstrated success managing executive client relationships and driving business development activities.
Experience leading large consulting teams and managing engagement financials, forecasting, and profitability.
Experience with one or more policy administration platforms including FAST (Verisk), FINEOS, ALIP, OIPA, DXC wmA/CyberLife, EXL LifePro, or comparable modern PAS solutions
Strong understanding of the Life & Annuity and group benefits value chain, including product configuration, underwriting, policy administration, servicing, and claims
Program management experience within onshore/offshore delivery models involving multiple vendors and stakeholders
Experience overseeing platform configuration, integration, APIs, middleware, and data migration efforts
Strong executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Experience working across multi-vendor and geographically distributed delivery models.
Demonstrated ability to influence senior business and technology leaders
Strong experience working within Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe practices.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior business and technology stakeholders.
Willingness to travel up to 50% based on client needs

Responsibilities

Lead complex client engagements and manage multidisciplinary teams focused on life, annuity, and group insurance transformation initiatives.
Serve as executive delivery leader for strategic transformation programs, accountable for program success, financials, governance, and client satisfaction.
Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with executive stakeholders across CIOs/COOs/Heads of Operations.
Lead executive steering committees and governance forums with industry insights and modernization strategies.
Direct multiple concurrent engagements and workstreams across client portfolios.
Identify opportunities for business expansion and collaborate with account leadership to drive revenue growth.
Define enterprise transformation strategies, target operating models, roadmaps, and governance structures.
Oversee architecture, data, integration, conversion, testing, change management, release management, and implementation activities.
Ensure alignment with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and enterprise architecture strategies.
Lead risk management and issue resolution for critical program decisions.
Drive adoption of AI-enabled delivery methods, automation, and analytics across engagements.
Lead and develop managers, consultants, and cross-functional delivery teams.
Sponsor talent development, succession planning, and performance management within BTG.
Build a high-performing consulting organization through coaching and leadership development.
Recruit, retain, and develop top talent while fostering an inclusive culture.
Lead account growth strategies and manage executive client relationships across strategic insurance accounts.
Originate and develop new business opportunities, contributing to revenue growth and pipeline development.
Lead pursuit efforts, proposal development, pricing strategies, estimations, and contracting discussions.
Serve as a thought leader in insurance transformation and policy administration modernization.
