Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager for Trade Compliance to join our team in a 100% remote role. You will lead ITAR compliance efforts, manage licenses, classifications, and disclosures, and advise internal clients on export controls for U.S. defense-related work.

The role requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility, U.S. citizenship, a bachelor’s degree, and at least 8 years of relevant experience. You will collaborate with the Legal Department and report to the VP/AGC, supporting government

Qualifications

• DoD Secret clearance eligibility and U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 8+ years of trade compliance experience in government or defense.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Act as an Empowered Official under ITAR compliance.
• Draft, submit, and manage TAAs, ITAR classifications, and licenses.
• Review export/import licenses and translate conditions into action.
• Provide guidance on release of export-controlled information.
• Maintain an organized library of TAAs and licenses.
• Advise on international purchase orders and hardware shipments.
• Prepare disclosures and conduct internal investigations as needed.
• Brief the Board of Directors on export-related matters when required.
