Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Manager for Trade Compliance to drive ITAR and export-control activities for U.S. government and defense engagements. The role requires DoD Secret clearance eligibility, U.S.

citizenship, and a minimum of 8 years in trade compliance, with the position offering 100% remote work. You will draft licenses, manage TAAs, classifications, and disclosures, while guiding internal clients and reporting to the Legal Department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and DoD Secret clearance eligibility
• Minimum 8 years in trade compliance or related field
• Strong ITAR knowledge and ability to act as Empowered Official
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
• Proactive, organized, and able to work independently or in a team
• Willingness to travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Act as Empowered Official with ITAR expertise and sound business judgment
• Draft, submit, and manage TAAs, ITAR classifications, license requests
• Review export/import licenses and translate conditions into actions
• Provide guidance on release of export-controlled information
• Maintain an organized library of TAAs and licenses
• Advise on handling international purchase orders and duties
• Review foreign travel requests against regulations and procedures
• Ensure timely responses and clear guidance to internal clients
• Support trade compliance program improvements and training
• Brief the Board of Directors on export-related matters
• Conduct compliance tasks, data calls, and record-keeping
