Job summary

Serco is seeking a Senior Manager for Trade Compliance to join our team in a 100% remote capacity. You will guide ITAR and export control functions, draft licenses, and ensure compliance for U.S. defense operations while supporting government and international projects.

Candidate must hold a DoD Secret clearance (post-employment) and be a U.S. citizen with at least 8 years of trade compliance experience, delivering guidance across the Legal Department and business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant trade compliance experience.
• DoD Secret security clearance (post-employment) required.
• US Citizenship required.
• Advanced ITAR knowledge to act as Empowered Official.

Responsibilities

• Lead ITAR and trade compliance activities for defense projects.
• Draft and manage export/import licenses and TAAs.
• Review licenses and translate provisos into actionable steps.
• Provide guidance on international purchases and shipments.
• Maintain licenses and compliance records.
• Develop and improve trade compliance programs.
