Vultr is seeking a highly skilled Manager, Technical Program Management to lead a team of Program Managers and own delivery of flagship data center builds. You will orchestrate engineering, construction partners, and suppliers, translating milestones for executive leadership.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in technical program management, with people leadership and deep experience in AI/cloud infrastructure deployments. This role offers significant impact in a fast-growing cloud company.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Program Management experience within a technical or infrastructure-focused organization.
• 2+ years of formal people management experience leading direct reports.
• Expert-level proficiency in Smartsheet and Jira Plans; architecting multi-program portfolios.
• Technical depth in global data center deployments, network topology, and power/cooling dependencies.
• Exceptional communication and EQ; able to influence executive leadership.
• Change management and scaling across rapid growth.

Responsibilities

• Direct Management: mentor and develop a team of 2–3 PMs, overseeing performance and daily execution.
• Portfolio & Capacity Orchestration: balance workload across the team to optimize build velocity.
• Process Standardization: establish best practices, templates, and governance.
• Flagship Program Delivery: own end-to-end delivery of high-priority data center builds.
• High-Stakes Facilitation: lead technical workshops and executive reviews.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Orchestration: coordinate internal engineering, vendors, and partners.
• Program Health & Visibility: maintain portfolio health in Smartsheet and Jira.
• Executive Communication: translate technical milestones into clear leadership dashboards.
• Ambiguity Navigation: drive structure and resolve bottlenecks quickly.
