Vultr is seeking a highly skilled Manager, Technical Program Management to lead a team of Program Managers and personally own the delivery of strategic data center builds. The ideal candidate is a proven player-coach with 12+ years of technical program management experience and formal people leadership in global deployments.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Program Management experience in a technical or infrastructure-focused organization.
• 2+ years of formal people management experience leading direct reports.
• Expert-level proficiency in Smartsheet and Jira Plans; multi-program portfolios and master schedules.
• Proven player-coach capability to balance executive leadership with hands-on execution.
• Strong technical depth in global data center deployments, power/cooling dependencies, and AI/cloud infra.
• Experience establishing program governance and scaling delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Direct Management: mentor and develop a team of 2–3 PMs.
• Portfolio & Capacity Orchestration: balance workload and assignments across the team.
• Process Standardization: establish templates and governance.
• Flagship Program Delivery: end-to-end ownership of strategic data center builds.
• Lead technical workshops and architecture reviews; executive decision-making.
• Stakeholder & Vendor Orchestration: align internal engineering with external partners.
• Program Health & Visibility: maintain schedules in Smartsheet/Jira and reflect risk.
• Executive Communication: translate complex milestones into dashboards for leadership.
• Ambiguity Navigation: drive cross-functional resolution amid uncertainty.
