Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead a strategic portfolio of AI, Salesforce, and Sales Enablement initiatives supporting distribution and sales technology transformation.

Position responsibilities include overseeing the full SDLC, delivering technology initiatives within budget and schedule, and driving AI-enabled sales capabilities across mobile, web, and desktop experiences. Strong cross-functional leadership and risk management are essential.

Qualifications

3-5 years of technical program management expertise in related field.
3+ years delivering technology solutions in the life insurance industry (required).
Familiarity with life insurance regulatory concepts and operational cadence of product changes.
Ability to manage execution plans to a budget and provide regular financial forecasts.
Familiarity with AI concepts, governance, and production monitoring in an enterprise environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for senior leadership.
Ability to design and manage integrations across a technology ecosystem (APIs, data sources, CRM).

Responsibilities

Oversee the full SDLC for initiatives supporting John Hancock priorities.
Delivery of technology initiatives including budget, schedule, and regulatory readiness.
Lead Salesforce modernization and AI-enabled sales capabilities.
Coordinate cross-functional teams across Business, Product, Technology, Architecture, Data and Security.
Identify and mitigate technical risks and drive adoption of platform capabilities.
Communicate strategy and progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
