Mass General Brigham is seeking an experienced Senior Practice Assistant to support a busy Thoracic Surgery practice. This role focuses on coordinating complex patient care, surgical scheduling, and ensuring an outstanding patient experience in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate brings strong administrative experience, proficiency with Epic/EMR, and a patient-centered approach to care coordination.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of administrative, medical office, or healthcare support experience required.
• Strong surgical scheduling experience in a medical setting.
• Experience with Epic or similar electronic medical record systems preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and schedule thoracic surgical procedures, pre-operative testing, and post-operative appointments.
• Obtain insurance authorizations, referrals, and required documentation for surgical care.
• Serve as a key point of contact for patients and families, guiding them through the surgical journey.
