GE Aerospace is seeking a Lead Engineer 1 - Thermal Dynamics to provide analytical modeling within the systems engineering team. You will lead trade studies, develop system architecture, and drive thermal modeling, verification, and data correlation for customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience; advanced degrees may satisfy part of experience.
• Expertise in thermal-fluid disciplines, modeling, verification, and system integration.
• Experience with VCS, LCS, ACS and related components and testing.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810/DO-160 environmental qualification methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead system architecture development and thermal/controls analyses.
• Coordinate modeling, analysis, and testing activities with teams.
• Manage thermal and performance requirements and traceability.
• Develop and maintain system models and libraries; support production transition.
• Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers during design development.
• Provide engineering support for trouble-shooting non‑performing products.
• Document objectives, progress, and results for program reviews.
