Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Lead Engineer 1 - Thermal Dynamics to drive analytical modeling for a multi-disciplinary team. You will lead thermal modeling, verify performance requirements, and correlate system models to customer specs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with 8–10 years of relevant experience; advanced degrees considered to satisfy part of the experience requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist System Engineer in developing program’s system architecture and technical approach, including thermal and controls analysis and testing.
• Identify and manage technical risks related to thermal performance.
• Serve as technical lead for modeling and analysis; coordinate activities across engineering groups.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineer and Program Manager to ensure successful modeling, analysis, and testing development.
• Allocate and decompose high-level requirements into lower-level specs for internal teams and suppliers.
