Job summary
GE Aerospace seeks a Lead Engineer 1 - Thermal Dynamics to drive analytical modeling for the systems team and lead thermal trade studies that shape system architecture to meet customer requirements. You will coordinate with program management and other engineering groups to ensure successful modeling, analysis, and testing development.
Remote or on-site in St. George, Utah, this role offers a comprehensive benefits package and an annual discretionary bonus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 8-10 years of relevant experience.
- Deep knowledge of thermal fluid sciences and system modeling.
- Experience with VCS/LCS/ACS and environmental testing methods.
Responsibilities
- Lead thermal modeling and analysis, guiding system architecture work.
- Coordinate modeling activities across engineering teams.
- Manage technical requirements and verification plans.
- Develop and maintain system models and libraries.
- Support verification, validation, and test data interpretation.
- Provide technical leadership for risk assessment related to thermal performance.
