Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior electrical engineer for the Effector Analog & Power team in Tucson to lead electronics testing, verification, and validation across subassemblies and systems. You will apply theory of operation to diagnose failures, validate designs, and work through all integration phases to ensure customer success.

Required are a BS in Electrical Engineering with extensive testing experience or an MS with years of applicable work.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s in Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and 8 years' experience, or a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years’ experience.
• Experience with prints, schematics, sketches, and test procedures.
• Experience troubleshooting circuit cards, at the component level
• Background using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, or spectrum analyzers

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of engineers performing electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specifications
• Advanced understanding and ability to apply the theory of operation for the unit under test to enable determination of faulty product for design, workmanship, environmental and/or component defects on complex electronics.
• Work on systems validation, test and analysis while working through all phases of integration, and test validation activities within the Labs.
• Ensure customer success through the development and execution of innovative and comprehensive test, verification, and validation strategies, processes, tools and techniques
