Job summary

RTX’s Effector Analog & Power team in Tucson seeks a senior electrical engineer with strong power and analog test expertise. You will verify telemetry and flight termination electronics, perform tests on subassemblies, boards and systems, and guide validation efforts across integration and test stages.

Applicants should hold a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering with extensive hands-on testing knowledge and experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s in Science in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years, or a Master’s with 5+ years.
• Experience with prints, schematics and test procedures.
• Experience troubleshooting circuit cards at component level.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical tests and troubleshoot subassemblies, assemblies, and systems to specs.
• Apply theory of operation to identify faults in design, workmanship, or environment.
• Contribute to system validation, test and analysis across integration and test phases.
• Develop and execute verification strategies, processes and tools for customer success.
