Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior engineer for the Effector Analog & Power team in Tucson. You will verify power and analog oriented products, troubleshoot at the component level, and lead test strategies across integration and validation phases.

You will use scopes, generators, and spectrum analyzers to characterize performance, support system verification, and ensure customer success with rigorous test plans. This role requires DoD Secret clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science Degree in Electrical Engineering with 8 years’ experience or Master’s with 5 years’ experience.
• Experience with prints, schematics, sketches, and test procedures.
• Experience troubleshooting circuit cards at the component level.
• Background using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, or spectrum analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical tests and troubleshoot subassemblies, assemblies, and systems to conformance to specifications.
• Apply theory of operation to determine faulty products across design, workmanship, and environmental factors.
• Contribute to systems validation, test and analysis through integration and test validation activities.
• Develop and execute innovative test, verification, and validation strategies to ensure customer success.
