Job summary

RTX is seeking a senior electrical engineer to join the Effector Analog & Power team in Tucson, AZ. You will verify power and analog products, perform electrical tests, and troubleshoot subassemblies to ensure conformance to specifications.

This role requires DoD security clearance, a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, 8 or 5 years of experience respectively, and hands-on lab testing with scopes and analyzers. Eligible for relocation; 9/80 schedule applies.

Qualifications

• Requires BS in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years experience or MS with 5+ years experience.
• Experience with prints, schematics, sketches, and test procedures.
• Experience troubleshooting circuit cards at the component level.
• Background using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, or spectrum analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of engineers performing electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specifications.
• Advanced understanding and ability to apply theory of operation to determine faults in design, workmanship or components.
• Work on systems validation, test and analysis through all integration and validation stages.
• Develop and execute test strategies, processes, tools to ensure customer success.
