Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Test Engineer for the Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Team in Tucson, onsite. You will verify power, analog, and digital electronics, leading testing programs that ensure product reliability and readiness for production.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across development and manufacturing, guide junior engineers, and help meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements while upholding security clearance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of experience OR Master’s degree with 5+ years.
• Experience in electronics testing, including integration and verification of power and/or analog-oriented products.
• Experience with circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications.
• Experience with hardware testing methodologies and/or root-cause corrective action investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and verification of power, analog, and digital oriented electronics products.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support the development, integration, and sustainment of power systems, servo electronics, and mixed-signal electronics.
• Designing and implementing test plans and procedures to ensure product functionality and reliability.
• Leading root-cause investigations and corrective actions for test anomalies.
• Supporting the transition of products from development to production, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Partnering with program teams to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
