Job summary

RTX is seeking senior level engineers for the Effector Analog & Power team in Tucson, AZ to verify power and analog oriented products. You will design and execute electrical tests, diagnose complex electronics, and drive validation strategies across integration phases.

Ideal candidates have EE degrees with 5–8+ years of experience and hands-on test equipment expertise (oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers). Relocation is available for this onsite role.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s in Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and 8 years' experience, or a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and 5 years’ experience.
• Experience with prints, schematics, sketches, and test procedures.
• Experience troubleshooting circuit cards, at the component level
• Background using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, or spectrum analyzers

Responsibilities

• Working with a team of engineers performing electrical tests and troubleshooting on subassemblies, assemblies, and systems for conformance to specifications.
• Advanced understanding and ability to apply the theory of operation for the unit under test to enable determination of faulty product for design, workmanship, environmental and/or component defects on complex electronics.
• Work on systems validation, test and analysis while working through all phases of integration, and test validation activities within the Labs.
• Ensure customer success through the development and execution of innovative and comprehensive test, verification, and validation strategies, processes, tools and techniques
