Job summary

RTX’s Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Team in Tucson seeks a Principal Test Engineer to verify power, analog, and digital electronics for mission‑critical systems. You will design test plans, execute tests, and lead root‑cause investigations to improve product reliability.

Requires a Bachelor's or Master’s in Electrical Engineering with 5–8+ years of electronics testing experience, knowledge of circuit card assembly, and strong hardware testing methodologies.

Qualifications

• Experience in electronics testing, including integration and verification of power and/or analog-oriented products.
• Experience with circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications.
• Experience with hardware testing methodologies and/or root-cause corrective action investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and verification of power, analog, and digital oriented electronics products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development, integration, and sustainment of power systems, servo electronics, and mixed-signal electronics.
• Design and implement test plans and procedures to ensure product functionality and reliability.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions for test anomalies.
• Support the transition of products from development to production, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
• Partner with program teams to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
