RTX is seeking a Principal Test Engineer to join the Effector Analog & Power (EAP) Team in Tucson. You will verify power and analog-oriented electronics, collaborate with engineering teams, and help drive test strategy for next-generation military systems.

The role requires a strong background in electronics testing, root-cause investigations, and test plan development, with a focus on reliability and producibility. Onsite work and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering with 5–8+ years (or 5+ with Master's) of experience.
• Experience in electronics testing, including power/analog and digital.
• Experience with hardware testing methodologies and root-cause investigations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing and verification of power, analog, and digital electronics products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development, integration, and sustainment of power systems and mixed-signal electronics.
• Design and implement test plans and procedures to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions for test anomalies.
• Support transition of products from development to production, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Partner with program teams to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
