Collins Aerospace is hiring a Senior Test Engineer to join the Test Innovation Engineering team for Mission Systems. The role involves Special Test Equipment (STE) design, development, and integration for ground applications.

Collaboration with internal customers and engineering teams is crucial, along with a focus on innovative solutions. Ideal candidates should have substantial experience and a degree in a relevant field. The position is onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Must have or be capable of obtaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Review product designs and create test solutions maximizing coverage.
• Capture, analyze, decompose, and translate requirements for production test solutions.
• Interface with internal systems, hardware, and software product design teams.
• Prepare and present project and technical information to management and customers.
• Reverse engineer existing equipment and document systems.
