Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Technician, Engineering Services to join our team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will construct, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot electronic equipment and systems from schematics and engineering drawings.

You will analyze data, prepare reports, and assist engineers with development of new processes and products. The role requires a HS Diploma or AA/AS with 4+ years of relevant experience and an AA/AS in Electronics or related field.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree (AA/AS) in Electronics or a related field.
• Experience in troubleshooting electronic systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Construct, calibrate, adjust, test, maintain and troubleshoot electronic equipment, components, devices and systems from schematics or drawings.
• Set up and operate standard or special test equipment and assist engineers with modifications.
• Analyze, interpret and record test data for engineering prototype hardware.
• Prepare reports, charts and schematics on developmental equipment.
